Report: Turkey cuts imports of Russian gas by 37.2% in July
ANKARA, Oct 6 (PRIME) -- Turkey has reduced imports of Russian natural gas by 37.2% on the year to 1.448 billion cubic meters in July, Turkish news agency Anadolu reported on Thursday quoting data of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority.
Turkey’s total gas imports shrank by 15.7% on the year to 3.441 billion cubic meters in July, including 3.028 billion cubic meters of pipeline gas and 383 million cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Imports from Iran rose by 37.5% to 870 million cubic meters and from Azerbaijan by 31.5% to 710 million cubic meters, Anadolu reported.
